Cannon and Cannon Wheels

We have produced many types of cannon wheels ranging from roman trebuchet wheels, english civil war cannon wheels, the famous irish cannon wheels and naval gun run cannon, limber and trails for a combined cadet force to carry out a gun run. All cannon wheels are as authentic to their period as possible. A few examples are shown below

We produced the wheels for the Londonderry cannon project, where the ancient cannon were replaced onto the city walls.

English Civil War cannon wheels under construction. These wheels were straked and nailed and had felloe joint plates as per the period

Cannon , limbers and trails produced for a college cadet force. These can be dismantled and taken over an assault course like the Navy gun run. They have been produced with a sliding breech and will fire an alarm shot

These cannon were seen on the E4 program “Stop treating me like a kid” where we were the employers of one of the 16 year olds who was involved in the show, Johnny Derbyshire. Our workshop also can be seen in the program
